Hello. I am 24 years old and will be 25 in October. I have been using 0.5 g finasteride per day for 6 months and Regain once every other day. I notice that my hair in the tonsure has become significantly better, but in the front I have the feeling that it is either falling out or hair is growing out? Should I take 1 g of finasteride a day? If you have any tips for me, I would be happy. I have NOT had HT yet.

Your hair has definitely improved. The decision has to be yours if you up the dosage to 1mg per day. The higher dose should be more effective.
I think you should hold off considering a hair transplant because of your young age and the fact you’re responding well to the meds. See how it goes over the next few years.
You may never need surgery which would be great.
