how many grafts was your surgery for?
hard to tell but just a few thoughts
1) transplants are an illusion of density and are generally only transplanted at half the density of your native hair, so unless you used a lot of grafts and went to an elite clinic, its very unlikely you should expect the areas to match. That being said the work does seem to be quite low density.
2) looking at your final photo it looks like that native area in the middle that was not transplanted has now thinned out which might explain some of your frustration with the results
3) very worth considering finasteride, and if you are worried about sides try and find the topical version. most clinics suggest using something. it rarely regrows lost hair in the hairline, but it better at stabilising any future losses/stabilising the donor and can sometimes regrow hair in the crown.
I'd probably look into trying to get a consult (preferably in person) with one of the recommended clinics here if it were me. Without knowing your age, how many grafts the surgery was, your remaining donor, your willingness to take meds long term and which clinic you went to it's very hard to give any solid advice though
