Tricopigmentation

Hello,

I am very new to this website, so please forgive me if my questions have already been answered in the past.

Many years ago, I wanted to have a HT, but soon realised the risks involved were not worth it and maybe I would just find myself in a deeper hole. Epsecially with my horseshoe shaped hairloss, Im sure I wouldn't have enough grafts to cover the top.

I live in London England, and only recently came across this more modern approach known as SMP. very impressed with some of the pics.. However as with any industry, there appears to be many cowboys and Consultants that will say anything to get your money.

So here I am hoping to get some advice and recommendations.

I am considering going for a temporary SMP known as a Tricopigmentation. Reason being- that if im unhappy with the result, at least it will fade out in time.

I also want to make it at least obvious as possible. not looking for a perfect hairline with thick density.. something realistic, shows I am still slightly balding but just not as much, with a slight frame to the face.. can anyone recommend a good place in England/London? or share their experience

Unfortunately there isn't much info on that thread. It would be interesting if anyone has had any experience with this, and could recommend a reputable clinic in London/England.

It seems pretty safe to try, and the fact that a Tricopigmentation fades out in time, really makes it worth a SHOT (for the indecisive peeps out there like myself). ; )

Before rushing into it, research is still key. If I can find a well experienced SMP professional, that can get the desired look im going for. it would be fantastic.

I wonder if Temp SMP can be done in one session? im assuming since it fades out with time.. the ink doesnt contain all the toxins, mercury, metals etc that the permanent ink (for SMP) contains

One session will not give the desired effect to make a judgment. You will need 2 or three which is what they recommend.

Looking to give Smp a go to make my fue and rest of head look bit fuller. Whats the options on temp in uk ? Been in touch with Vinci but realised they do only permanent which I am not sure about Thanks

The permanent ink from reputable SMP clinics like Brandwood doesn't contain toxins mercury and metals. If your going for Temp Tricho you need somewhere that's been trained by Beauty Medical (Milena)imo to get the best results.

There doesnt appear to be that many specialists that perform ATP

Do you know if when it fades out.. does it fade in a way where it just looks as though you are balding naturally? or does it start to look obvious more obvious as it fades out.

Been told by an SMP specialist that Tricopigmentation have bigger dots. Hard to know if this is true or not

Not that I`m aware of. It will depend on the size of the needles used which applies to tricho or smp.

Exactly that's what I thought.. i called some clinics in the London area to see if they offer Trico, and immediately they were like 'why do you want that for' and almost trying to persuade me not to do it and go for the SMP procedure with them.. But I guess that's just sales for you.

I'be narrowed it down to Velvet pigmentation and Peter in Brighton.. More swaying towards Brighton as I like his work.. would love your opinion as well

If you consult with him, you could ask him if he has any patients willing to share their stories on here.
I`ve had a look at his website. There are only around 12 results on there. the fully shaved heads look decent.
The hairline repair one still looks pluggy and unnatural. I don`t see how Trico or SMP could improve it. It needs another HT repair surgery.
