Using hair products after HT

When can you start using hair products again after a HT. My hair has always been very frizzy/fluffy and I used to always use styling products not just to style my hair but also control the frizz/fluffyness so I’m jut wondering when I can start doing this again.

After 2 weeks is fine.
Depending on how much product you apply you may ha e to wash it out every night.

I used Nanogen fibres, hair spray and clay type products 10 days post op with no issues. Sometimes I'd be lazy and not wash my hair at night, leaving it till the morning and all turned out fine.

Thanks Bigmac I’m surprised you can use stuff that early on after a HT, I thought it would be much later on down the line. Might try a little volume paste tomorrow then.

Your grafts are secure by day 4. Usually the scabs are gone by day 10. If scabs are still lingering, hair styling products don't do them any harm.
I would still check with your doctor just in case they say a different approach for aftercare.

Will do, I’ll message them first thing tomorrow morning

Sounds good. A lot of people say the products will clog the pores on your scalp and cause ingrown hairs. This doesn't apply so soon after surgery unless you're one of the chosen few whose grafts continue to grow after transplanting.
As long as you keep your scalp clean I'd say you'll be fine judging by my own experience. My hair transplant count is into double figures.

Below you can see me using Nanogen. This was after one of my repair surgeries. My hair was getting lighter so the slighter darker fibers were picked up by the video but in normal eyesight it blended very well.
