Daily oral Finasteride and Topical Minoxidil Foam morning and night.
Age 28
June 2023 - Present day
Daily Dutasteride, 2.5 mg Oral Minoxidil, Topical Minoxidil foam morning and night, Nizoral 2% twice a week, micro needling twice a month
I noticed my hair diffuse thinning at 23 and immediately hoped on Fin and Minox. Must have slowly lost ground over the years because one day in 2023 I realized my hair was noticeably thin near the front. I’ve been on the current regiment since June 2023, but STILL have a significant thin patch in the front of my head that you can see under sunlight, or harsh lights such as overhead lighting. What are my options if I want to fill the thin patch in? Is it dead follicles that will never grow back, and I will need a hair transplant? Would switching from 2.5 mg of OM to 5mg a day make any difference?
I’ve included 2 photos under harsh sunlight which shows off the thinning. I also included one in normal lighting.
Is there a possibly hair style that I can get that hides the frontal thinning?
