Good afternoon all,

I'm hoping to understand the density that is expected from a hair transplant. Obviously results can vary and can be affected by many factors. But if someone was to get a transplant done - would it be 20% 40% 80% 100% of the natural density?

Also in the donor area after - how thinned out should it look after
1,000
2,000
3,000
4,000
5,000 grafts

Less than 50% of original hair it becomes noticeable that it is getting thinner. Transplanted density depends on what your existing density is and what parts they are working on. The donor will depend on the density that is there.

Density of donor and recipient area determined during hair transplant depends on the severity of hair loss. Some people may have bald patches which signifies that higher amount of hair grafts will be required to execute the hair restoration process. If you have been confused about the type of hair restoration procedure, number of hair grafts and other technical details about the procedure, then, I would recommend you to visit DHI India, the top hair transplant clinic in Delhi. After performing the clinical examination, the consultation session will include the desired hairline finalization. After this discussion, the details of density of hair to be implanted in the recipient area and extraction of hair follicles from the donor area of the scalp
