My guess is that the government regulatory agencies have cracked down. I don t own a TV so I don t know what is being advertised here in the US but I can tell you the rules have gotten much tighter over the last 20 years or so. The FTC regularly cracks down on fraudulent advertising and the fines can be very high.
They even have specialized firms here to help with the wording of advertising copy as not to overstep the FTC boundaries.
There is a clinic here in the States that makes claims regarding Acell, donor regeneration etc. What I don t quite understand is how they do not know that this is illegal. I think this particular clinic does very good work but when I see the incompetence of not knowing something is illegal as far as marketing it really makes me wonder. You cannot makes claims for drugs that have not been approved for a specific purpose most especially when you are in the business of making a profit which involves it s use and making what can only be construed as marketing statements ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦.everyone knows this so why does this particular clinic not know ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦..it s beyond me. And this is why you don t see as much of the marketing crap with hair loss cures. Imagine if everyone made claims for which there was no proof.
Even those that sell something as simple as food cannot make claims ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦..it s illegal. I can make a statement about my own experience but I don t make money selling eggs or anything else. As an example if I was in the business of selling eggs I cannot make any health claims, faster wound healing etc.
