well heres my latest upload 2 months down the line from last ones and some 7 months since I first started taking them...

I must also admit to not always taking the fin every day and also the minoxidil ive missed on quite a few occasions for a couple of days etc...im pretty happy with whats happening, though i suspect this is as far as itll get me but it doesnt concern me as much as previously..

Be great if big mac could put my originals next to these so the difference can be seen..

Looking forward to your replies.

Wow, that's a great reaction to the meds. Pleased you are getting such results from just the meds alone. I've seen meds regrow hair for up to two years then they work to hold it for several more years. At which time you may have to up your dosage or look at other options if need be. Well done.

Ok guys 7 month mark, And im now managing a hair style, My hair has been cut to a blade two sides and back which if I'm honest is a bit shorter than id intended to go but wanted to see whats what but looks thinner on back than at my usual length...but judge for your self im more than happy with whats occurring. Infact the wife mentioned the other day (on a normal sore subject) how id not complained or seemed down on my hair for a good while now...I'd not even noticed so thats good..Here we go.

This is the second time in my profession in HT that I have seen this type of serious response to finasteride and minoxidil. Very very nice indeed.

We had and an FUE patient a few months back that after a consult had scheduled a procedure for 2-2200 grafts. He decided to post-pone the procedure because of scheduling problems and his procedure would be many months later. In the mean time he tried medications... which previously he did not want to do.

When he arrived at our office and we took pictures and compared them, we were all taken back by the regrowth of his recipient. He turned out not needing the projected consult grafts. He only needed 1-1200 grafts.

Your response to your medications is the second time I have seen this. Kudos. ¬b`

WOW!!!! I'm even more impressed now with that type of response.

If im totally honest ive not even took meds regularly there's been times (many of them) where either because ive just plain forgot or been away for long weekend etc that at times ive not took both meds for 3-4 days sometime a couple of times in a month..

Also I'm still only using the min once a day, however because of my renewed confidence ive been getting back into training in the gym and did a detox course where i started eating loads of greens like broccoli cauliflower green beans spinach etc and drinking 4-5 liters of water plus pure protein powder for vegans so no added sugars etc and in that month that the detox was on after 10 days you could see a massive difference in my hair and texture..

On reflection this could well be an area alot of people ignore where their hair is concerned as a good nutritious diet has got to reflect on how your hair grows..

But yeah peeps im pretty happy but i now understand this hair greed everyone mentions lol.Tho when i look at the before pics it amazes me if i can find it ill upload a picture of when i shaved my hair short just after meeting Big mac there was hardly anything on my head.

Once again thanks for all your replies, i hope this post encourages others to try meds (the cheaper route) initially instead of just diving straight in for ht first as they too may get some positive results.

Found it, this was taken at a day out at York after meeting Big Mac and before starting meds...in fact it was this picture that made me decided to give them a try..
