Will 1 HT be suficient?

Hi,

I guess at this stage my only concern is if 1 HT is sufficient? Or do I need a 2nd pass to achieve the desired density? If it matters, donor density was measured at 90/90 Follicular units per cm2.

I had some in person consultations some time back but I never asked them this question. However, I remember one clinic saying that a 2nd pass would be needed.

Any views on this ?

I don't think that you even need one hair transplant, never mind two. Your hair looks great as it is. I think you should be at least a NW 3 before you even consider surgery. If I were you, I would stick to finasteride, to preserve what you have, and only consider surgery if things deteriorate. But, of course, it's up to you. All the best.

thanks for your answer Salazar. I agree that I do not really need a HT. It is just that I have 1 month off next summer so I thought would be a good opportunity. Regarding Finansteride, most Drs said I do not need it.

It's true that you have no need of it at the moment. And who knows, perhaps your hair will remain the same, without any aid, for the rest of your days. At least you're aware that finasteride is an option if things do go south. All the best.

I wud agree to other people who adviced you earlier...Imo you are good as you are..you should only go with a ht if you are too much concerned abt your hair and its really affecting your life in a negative way...you can try therapy like prp which cn be helpful....you cn start finasteride if you see extensive hair fall evryday whn you wash your head and whn u find too many grafts on your pillow or while combing hair ...
