Really feel sorry for you tech.

Here are a couple of links to a thread in the HIS forum where someone also had a bad procedure with Scalp Aesthetics. They ended up having laser removal and then had HIS clinic redo it, and they ended up loving the result. HIS has a history of fixing bad treatments, so you might want to look into them as well as the other providers mentioned in this thread.

The HIS forum is really active and there have been more than a few cases like yours come though... some of those guys are still around, and there are lots of others who are there to help if you need it.

Tech, I urge you to follow Nicole's advice. I've known her for a couple years now and I believe her to be not only extremely knowledgeable and expereienced (in both permanent and temporary SMP) but she is a very caring young lady. She'll steer you right.


What I also urge you to do is to research pico laser treatments to learn what this option can present. Finally, I urge you to not rush into finding a replacement solution with any provider as once you eventually find a solution to your current predicament you should take time to reflect on what you've learned and then move forward based on that.

Tech the hardest thing you will have to do and many guys fail to do this is before considering any type of procedure meet with patients and forum posters in person. Yes meet with those in the industry too but open yourself up to as many views as possible. Most also fail to bring a non interested third party along on any consultation to be kind of a sounding board for them. Much of it is due to shame and the shame only becomes greater if they get tangled up in a web making it only more difficult down the line.

I have been observing the the industry for over 30 years now and even with the forums I had learned enough back in early 2000 to know that much of it was an illusion and I needed to be extremely careful and posted those thoughts for others at that time. So I just kept researching meeting and speaking with people and kind of connecting the dots. Eventually I found someone that was able to help me who was ethical and honest but we are talking over 10 years of waiting. Of course no one wants to wait that long but I was no longer desperate which worked to my advantage. It put me in a stronger position if you can do the same that too would work to your advantage. Maybe not 10 years but take your time.

You should know from your own life experience sometimes you might get a feeling about a person. Then when you start speaking with other friends they start saying the same thing and together you start connecting the dots. It €™s kind of like that. If you are near the Chicago area you are always welcome to stop by my house and speak. My wife will gladly make dinner and you can judge for yourself.

Don €™t feel a bad you simply made a mistake and it €™s not your fault no reason to feel any guilt.

I €™m going to be 53 soon and I read something yesterday that really hit home. We sometimes learn the most valuable lessons over a lifetime because that is how long it takes. Take advantage of those that have gone before you and learn from them.

Take the time to learn from those that do not work in the industry and have their own experience to pass along in addition to those that do it for a living.
