Dr Roger 4 month update by Johnboy 2011

So, my 4 month has just passed and its been a very interesting period.

The hair started growing after on 4th week which was one week after most of the hairs shed.

Slowly but surely the hair begin to sprout out - at first mainly on the bottom of the hair line and then at the top of the temples. Not much was growing in between though so it meant I had to start shaving the bottom hairs so as not to look obvious I've had something done.

I have been very conscious of not showing the hairline so have had to use cover up as redness of the skin has stayed with me for a long time. It is starting to go now and has virtually dissappeared on the left side.

The photo does not do justice to the amount of hair that has grown as the hair is very fine at this stage but you can see at the top of the temples how its starting to fill in and thicken up.

I believe I am a 3rd of the way through the growing phase of my new hair so I am very excited as to the potential result given whats sprouted in 4 months. There are lots of stubble under neath the soft hair so it gives me encouragement there is still plenty to come through.

So, all in all I'm very happy with the progress so far and I'll post another pic on month 5.

Looking good and natural.

Have you been using anything for the redness as it can linger in some cases like yours.

Cheers Bm.

I was using aloe vera every day but it didn't make any difference so I switched to bio oil. It actually doesnt look as bad as the picture which was taken start after a hot shower.

I know the redness will go in time as the skin regenerates itself so I'm not that bothered about it. Right now a little cover up does the trick.

Yea you have got plenty of hair to conceal it with, no one will notice it.

Shame the ointments did not help but mother nature will take its course and all will return back to normal.

Donor area is great. No bumps where the skin was stitched or visible marks. I've had my hair cut ever three weeks recently and the hair dresser hasn't even noticed. The scar line which is thin has some colour to it but its hardly noticable.

What a Tool
Hi
Good to see one of Dr R's patients. Looking nice, should be very nice at 12 months. Have a look at my pictures in my blog (link at the bottom), there should be a 4 month post op pic in there; might give you some idea.
Good growth and keep us posted. Why not come along to the Manchester hair meet in January?

Looks like lots of hair growing well, your probably only a 1/4 through at 4 months post op so maybe 3/4 more still to come.

I dont live in Manchester so wouldn't be able to make it I'm afraid. Not sure I'd want to come out - if you know what I mean!!

Hey, just checked your pics - yeh, 4 months looks pretty similar to mine so if i can achieve your 11 month look i'll be well chuffed. I see a big difference between the 4th and 6th month pics - did it really take off for you during month 4 and 6?
