You have indeed come a long way since your days at the park with Bigmac playing with your hair, I mean taking your pics....haha.

You have several more months before your final outcome so in that respect you have more thickening and maturing to look forward to, however, your last session size was fairly small due to low laxity and density. It would be nice to get another 1000 to 1500 to bring down and thicken your hairline and a light coverage to rest of your crown. You have more donor remaining via strip session so you're not out of options.

I like all the different pictures you took. The one with nanogen looks phenomenal. It looks like you need your hair thinned out. We know you don't have that much donor left so nanogen is a really, really good option for you. If you need coverage in the hairline, use DermMatch.

Thanks again for the updates. We at SMG are really happy for you.

lol bigmac playing with my hair....cheeky::}{:

another 1000 to 1500 would be awesome and im fine with having strip....its good to know i still have some options......would be great to thicken the hairline and lower it a little... cheers jannaZ:B

i like the nanogen look its fine but the fixing spray makes my hair go like cardboard ...ill have to figure out how to use it properly as its like mega hold hairspray )(_::.

Give my regards to the gang...;)

warm wishes as ever nutster

The Informant
Hi All, as per my previous post and with input from bullitnut (much appreciated) that i have come across another few sites ukhairtransplants.com & ukhairtransplantclinics.co.uk
It would appear that this none other than the infamous Norton Clinics as i was told my surgery would be carried out by 1 of 4 of their surgeons (GP's laughable) shamalak or goldstone were the only 2 i was made aware of after much hesitation in Wakefield. Apparently they talk of FRCS recognition etc... i dont think i will find either of them on that register.

Hey dude...i am thrilled with my progress, i grew my hair longer up until a few weeks back and i really like how it looked (should have added some pics then;;D).

I've since buzzed it down to a grade 4 all over again.....it looks good and totally natural and i would say the crown has had some thickening yes dude;)

Going to wait a few more weeks though before i post another set of pics as all my pics seem to be of a buzz cut, and it would be cool to show more variaton.

I don't always have my hair buzzed by the way i like it long and short and am overjoyed with how far things have turned around for me.

warm wishes bn;)

It would be a good idea when you take your next set of pics to duplicate the pics we take at SMG. I don't have your result of second procedure to put side by side so this would be a good time to do it. These pics will also aid in planning your next procedure. We'll find a date soon for late summer or early fall. You should definately start on the scalp exercises.

Ok Janna thats a great idea, although it might take a few weeks or so to get to a similar length it was, so as to replicate the SMG pictures.....I'm on with the scalp exercises and am very excited indeed about the next procedure;) Its going to be amazing to come back to the US again.

best wishes nutster

Just a quick update.

As you all probably know i've been a regular for a while now on the forums. The last few weeks to a month though i haven't been as active as i would have liked. Please don't think i've dissapeared or don't want to be a part of these online communities anymore.....rest assured i get great enjoyment out of posting on the hairloss boards and am not going anywhere.

The reason for this abscence is that i have had a very close family member taken ill from liver failure.

She started to turn yellow at the beginning of June and was admitted to hospital, we as a family all rallied around and tried our best to be there for her and her partner.

She was in hospital for a while throughout June and gradually got worse. It was a terrible time and we had to watch her deteriorate as her liver was just too badly damaged to repair itself.

At the beginning of this month unfortunately she passed away, her partner sunk deep into depression and it was a tough time for me and my family.

The reason i am writing this on a hairloss forum is simple.

For most people going to a funeral is something that is not nice.... but can be done without fear of people staring and giving funny looks.

Thanks to my repair at SMG for the first time ever i was able to go to a family funeral without these fears and pay my last respects to someone who was very close to me and my partner.

All the money in the world could not replace that feeling and i am and will be eternally gratefull for that.

I have attached a photo taken with my phone of my crown at 12 months and will post some better pictures with my camera when i get a chance.

I am very happy with the outcome and feel my initial goals of stage 2 which was to create a light coverage to the crown have been more than achieved.

I am now able to achieve a superb full look with a little nanogen... but mostly i don't bother as it looks good as is.

Warm wishes bullit;)

Good to hear that you are over any fears of being in public places. Many of us take simple things like that for granted. I am sorry for your loss however.

You look great Bullit. Very happy for you. SMG have done a wonderful job restoring your confidence. They are top notch.

I hope all is well with you. Take care bud.
