Hi i am about 2 weeks post hair transplant. 2000 grafts FUE . Hairline/ frontal 1/3 coverage. I will post a pic of the right side of my hairline. Judging by how its looking at the moment, it doesn’t look like ill get much density. I went to a doctor with a very good reputation in Chicago, so i trust that it will turn out better than i think it will, but wondering what u guys think.

i feel like i may just be over analyzing. I have a bad habit of doing that.

Hi Robby.
It's hard to tell at 2 weeks as a lot of grafts will have shed and you look to have healed well. Do you have sime pictures showing before and immediately after surgery?

Looking at the placement it appears your left side must have had more recession which is why more grafts were placed there. This will even up your hairline and the density placed should blend in well with your native hair.
Because your hair is thinner behind you don't want a thick wall of hair at the front. I believe what you've had done will blend in well and look very natural.

thanks for your evaluation! I didn’t think of it that way, but that makes a lot of sense.

No problem, it would be great to follow your progress. I know the two well know doctors from Chicago, so it's a choice between those two.

Thanks that would be great.
Are you on any hair loss prevention regimen?

Finasteride, minox, dermapen.
If anything, finasteride has slowed hairloss.

It's good to hear it's slowed down.
Finasteride was a game changer for me, without it my hair loss would have continued as my Norwood pattern was similar to an older brother who ended up a Norwood 6 at 40

That should be good! You also have the benefit of lighter hair so it'll be easier to give the illusion of high density!

I think everything is going well! At this point in time, most of my hairs have shed while a small percentage are long and never shed. There is not much growth at the moment. My temples for the most part are pretty bare, however, I think I can feel very light peach fuzz. I'd obviously like to see more growth at 10 weeks, but I know it's still early and I have a long way to go.

Thanks for updating Robby. Yes, still early days and good to hear you think everything is going well.
The little peach fuzz could be the start of your growth.
All the best.

It’s normal for one side to grow faster than the other, but they should even out over time.

Everything looks on track with some nice early growth. Both sides will even out eventually.

Definitely more growth. Are you happier now with your progress even though it`s still very early days?
