Hair transplant for crown

Hi guys,

What do you guys think as im thinking of getting a transplant just for the crown area. i have been losing/thinning hair for around 4-5 years now and don't currently use any products or meds. I feel like i have the loss under control but want to cover this area up now!
my hairline from the front has receded but is straight so can live with that.
not sure if i should start considering transplant now.

How old are you? how do you come to the conclusion you have the crown loss under control when you don´t use anything?

I would suggest you try Finasteride or other medication. A transplant should be the last resort pal. I had tried minoxidil and not seen any progress but I actually didn’t use Finasteride before my surgery. Now I do (as instructed by the doctor), but I don’t have a clue how much it’s helped or how good the crown transplant alone actually was. I got 1200 grafts on my crown and it’s so much better now, but for all I know the medication might have been enough? I talk about it here:

thanks Bigmac , what meds do you recommend. im about to start regaine (wish i had done years ago). im quite reluctant to take the tablets at the moment so i guess my only option is minoxidil

Why not try topical Finasteride? Quite a few variations of minox and fin mixes if you want to avoid the tablets.
