I think your hairline should be better than this. Do you use finasteride or anything else?

Thank you fot your comment. I don't like especially front left part. It looks very rare.

- I quit to use finasteride 18 months later then HT. So, i don't use finasteride nearly last 4 months. I used nearly 10 years and i dont want to use anymore.

- I quit to use minoxcil one month before HT and did not use it again never.

Hello 110620. Looking at your pictures your hairline is fuller but sparser than what I would expect for the grafts used. Your hairline was not lowered which is the plan I would have chosen.
Do you have a picture showing face on with your hair combed backwards exposing the whole hairline like in the first image picture in the attached comparison?

The mid-section looks to have improved but your hair is comb over. Could you add a top down picture like number 2 and number 8? One with hair combed backwards, one with hair combed forwards.

Your crown looks to be similar to your pre-op situation, although your picture is under hashing lighting or has the flash enabled.

I think what you need to do is rule out any possible causes for a lower than expected yield. Maybe see a dermatologist to check for underlying conditions. This may involve a scalp biopsy.
There is a small percentage of patients that for whatever reason the results are below than expected. This is often referred to as the X factor by doctors. They simply don't know why the yield was not good.
Coming off Finasteride could have accelerated hair loss to your native. Hair that might have been dependent on it. This I`m saying because I assume the after pictures you’ve posted are present day. If you have some pictures from 6 months ago or 12 months after your surgery, before you stopped the meds as this will show your result before coming off the meds.
If its none of the above reasons, then its possible something did not go according to plan during the surgery. We can address that once you have considered the above.

What was discussed prior to surgery at your consultation? What were your expectations and what was agreed? Why did you quit the meds?

Thank you so much for your comment.

I used Finasteride nearly 10 years(include after 18 months later then HT) and i did not wanted to use anymore. I used minoxcil 10 years too but quited one month before HT.

My expectation was better results ofcourse, at least for frontal area because i see my frontal line on the mirror directly. When we consider 5000 greft and 64 micron, i had should better result i belive. At least for frontal area should be better, i know that back side(vertex) is more difficult to cover.

I think the most important think in here, after control 12 months later, Dr. Erdogan controled my situation and he did not satisfied from the results but he requested money again for another HT. I waited 10 months more to see will there change anything but i started to find any other clinic for fix the hairs because everyone agree about my results are not sufficent.

Would you be able to add some pictures with your hair styled as requested above?

If you were on finasteride for 10 years I think it might not have been as effective for you with the extent of your loss. We need to see the pictures Bigmac has asked for before jumping to conclusions.

For the grafts used it does not look pretty. 5k grafts is no joke and should get better coverage than this.

I would think he would offer you a free "topup", this is more of a "repair" than a "topup" but anyways. It is Dr €rdogan we are talking about.

If this is how it looked at 12 months post-op then I would say you have not had the anticipated growth from 5000 grafts. It is possible that you’ve lost hair since quitting Finasteride but I think you need to speak with the clinic again. Try to arrange an appointment and ask about underlying conditions. As I mentioned earlier, some transplants just do not take for a small percentage of patients or certain conditions can be the cause for low yield.

"If this is how it looked at 12 months post-op"
+ Actually this is 22 months situation

"It is possible that you’ve lost hair since quitting Finasteride"

+ I was using finas when Dr. Erdogan checked my situation after 12 months later from hair transplant and he said that i need any other hair transplant. So, i belive my situation is not related with directly quiting finas.

" I think you need to speak with the clinic again"
+ Dr. Erdogan checked my situation after 12 months later from hair transplant and said that i need any other hair transplant with paying money again. After this, clinic did not contact with me and i did not contact with them too. They already declerated their idea and i did not accept. I don!t find any reason to contact with ASMED.

I wanted be sure that do i need one more HT because i have time nowadays and wanted to ask on the HT forums to receive their(you are some kind of expert) comments. Unfortunately no one did not commented positive. I am looking for a clinic to make my situation better because i have only 2500-3000 greft remaining

Would it be possible to add pictures at 12 months post-op so we can see what the clinic were looking at?
If you go for another HT I would use beard grafts to add density. I’d also strengthen the hairline where needed.
Consult with a few clinics to get their opinion on what they thinks you will need.

Actually, "pictures at 12 months post-op" are a little bit intresting for me because i requested "after photos" too but ASMED informed me that they don't share with patients. They don't share my photos with me but they share my photos with 3rd part(another HT forum) without asking me. I don't know how can it be possible but my donor area looks better on12 months post-op.

Yeap, i plan to use my beard grafts too because i dont have too much choice and also my hair and beard colour are very smilar.

Do you have it in writing they don`t share your pictures with you? I don`t see any reason why they would not provide you with your pictures. Did you not take your own pictures at this timeframe?
If they are a different colour you may have to dye your hair.

"Do you have it in writing they don`t share your pictures with you?"
+ Nope, i forgot to request photos before leaving ASMED and called them when it came to my mind. They told me they don't share the control photos with patients/clients.

"I don`t see any reason why they would not provide you with your pictures. Did you not take your own pictures at this timeframe?"
+ I did not see any reason too but i did not care because i was not happy any because they requested money again for new HT even they did not satisfied from results too. My control photos was nearly last idea when i leave there. I did not contact with clinc after that day and they did not contact with me too. Already they told me their opinion about my HT and what is next step. What would i do with my photos

"If they are a different colour you may have to dye your hair."
+ Maybe you are right. My beard colour can be more light or ginger and it will be problem. I will focus on this issue. Thank you for warning.

It’s a shame you never took your own pictures if you not being satisfied at 12 months. The clinic should provide you with your pictures. Maybe you could request them again?
Have a few consults in person with other clinics if possible to see what they suggest.
