Is Seneca Medical Group a serious clinic? They have good reviews on Google, but I'm a bit wary since they have multiple locations, which seems a bit like a franchise. Also, I've heard that DHI isn't a serious technique.

I believe they are franchising clinics, before they where called DHI, but some went on their own and changed name.

DHI is a serious technique that many of the top Doctors around the world is using, but it gets a bad rep because low cost clinics in Turkey is using the method without the skills needed. Also many use bad DHI copy surgery instruments that is of worse quality.

Pity. I live in Scotland, where there is lack of big name transplant surgeons -- they all seem to be stateside. I don't want to travel abroad -- can't afford to either. If there's any post-op issues, I'd prefer my surgeon not to be an ocean away.

DHI has nothing to do with your donor area and the extractions. DHI is a implantation technique using choi pens they load with a graft to "shoot" into the incision hole instead of the "standard" FUE method which uses forceps.

There is no difference really, it depends on the skills of the Dr/techs, not the technique.

The extraction part is always FUE or FUT.

I believe Dr Mcluskley at the Glasgow Clinic is a serious Dr you could research more.

There are lots of good Doctors out there but equal amount of con artists so its important that you take your time and especially research whats important with a hair transplant as you seem pretty new to all of this with what you said about DHI vs FUE.

I believe Dr Bonaros have some cases on here that looks pretty good. Its not that many cases yet though.

I'm hoping to have my temples filled in a bit, possibly bring the hairline forward a fraction.

No, not yet. I want to be better informed before I arrange a consultation, so that I ask all the right questions.

I had HT at Seneca in Glasgow on July 2nd. they where brilliant with me. scabs all off now and over the moon with what they did. l had 2000 grafts for my crown. Donor area you would not know l had it done and same for my crown .the way the hair is placed in a pattern to match the rest is truly an art. with only that the hair is short compared with the rest you wouldn't know.

Yes it all went well. plus the surgeon takes the hairs out and puts them in again. l got the bus through to Glasgow has l didn't fancy driving. they booked me a taxi with a company they use to go home. l live 60 miles away and it cost me £130. l never told anyone l was having it done so was more than happy to pay it. plus they prefer you don't drive after the session. l will put pics up of the trans plant too.
