Hair Simulate" 3D hair transplant simulator experience

My friend finally tried "Hair Simulate" last night after seeing it mentioned here. Since it's free, he figured why not. Honestly, seeing the 3D results was a bit of a relief it looks way more natural than he expected.
his donor area is in good shape, which helps, but I'm curious: Has anyone here actually used this and then gotten their transplant? Did the real life results match the simulation? It definitely cleared some of our doubts, but we'd love to hear your thoughts before I commit.

Copied from a previous post, my comments why it´s rubbish

There are a few issues with simulations, especially third party simulations and a reason why you generally don't get clinics using them, the concept has been around for a fair time.

You have removed the skills and ability of the doctor and technicians that perform the hair transplant. Also, how your natural hair characteristics play an important role. Then the quality and strength of your donor region, taking into account your hair loss pattern, how many grafts can safely be removed over one or multiple sessions. How much coverage you can achieve and whether "your" hairline position is suitable for your hair loss pattern and the achievable hair coverage.

If you took your simulation to a decent clinic it´s unlikely they would confirm they would give you that, even if they potentially could, as they would not wish to be pinned down on a specific look (that they did not create), especially with the variables that can occur with any surgery, regardless how unlikely some maybe.

Simulations from what I have tried online seem to give above average results that would lure many guys into the chair with false expectations.
