Your hair is in pretty good shape for 40. Nice position to be in. The 1600 grafts should make an impact on the thinner areas providing more density.I always like to follows Dr Bisangas work. I'll follow your progress updates.

Hi BM, not a great deal to report - I'm just waiting patiently. My native hair has grown out a little. Slow progress, as expected. I'll be 2 months post op next Tues and will post some pic updates then. Roll on the next few months! Cheers

At this stage, it is sort of a limbo period where nothing much happens. The time will pass by quickly and soon enough you will see new growth.

Indeed, it is a period of limbo, I would liken it to the follicular equivalent of "no man's land". Or more aptly, "no man's-hair land"....

Being nosey here but who did your original surgery and how much was the surgery with Dr Bisanga?

Here's my 2 month update. Pics were taken straight out of the shower, completely natural with no product. As you can see, my native hair has grown about 1cm over the last month and it's thin in the newly transplanted areas (temples and crown).
Tommy - my previous procedure was with Alvi Armani. I paid BHR's standard rates, per their website: ‚¬5 per graft for first 1000; ‚¬3 per graft for additional.

Looks like great work. You are going to love the change. And I know the feeling of trying to swing the surgery without anyone noticing and trying to still have a normal life. Not easy and part of what keeps me from the final surgery.

I always like to see the longer hair prior to surgery as it gives a better idea of coverage and possibilities. Good luck with the healing.
