Glad to hear all is getting better gregor, you are through the worst of it now.

So it's 8 weeks tomorrow, gonna post an update for everyone to show you how it's looking.
In the interest of consistency these pictures are always taken under my light and with my flash on, so obviously bringing out all the imperfections possible.
As you can see, not much to report, just going as expected. Pain totally gone for a good few weeks now however still not feeling 100% normal in the recipient area, just very slightly numb to the touch still.
You can also clearly see the thinner patch from the donor area in these pics, again, i sincerely hope this is just shock loss, but I have also attached a picture with no flash for this one, just so you can see the difference the flash makes, it really does show all imperfections and I obviously understand that.
Anyway, happy so far and here you go! Direct link to full res pics on imgur - http://imgur.com/a/wZcc9 - I will format these into this post later

Edit - To the admin, for some reason line breaks never seem to work on my posts haha, i always type a well paragraphed post and it turns into a wall of text for some reason haha

First image from straight on the front - You can see Around the front of my existing hair a little bit of shock loss, was never that thin before, riding the wave and waiting for this to come back, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Now from either side - Looks a bit silly the way i'm growing my hair in haha, but i've decided im growing it back to what it used to be as it's gonna be at least 8-10 months before the transplanted hair is looking good and I dont want a shaved head for that length of time. Another couple of weeks and hopefully i'll be able to bust out the famous blow dry and hairspray forward look haha
Here's a picture of how I used to have my hair, i actually looked OK but as i'm sure many of you know there was the constant paranoia if you got it even slightly out of place, it rained, there was wind, you went swimming etc etc.

Here's the back with the flash on, as you can see there's a noticeably thinner patch, as previously mentioned I am hopeful this is just shock loss as opposed to the clinic taking too much hair from a particular area, time will tell but I doubt the clinic ave made any errors like this :)

And here it is without the flash on, just to show how much the flash does show any imperfections, i'm not too bothered about it because it's clearly not visible in daily life, just under hard light with a camera flash it becomes apparent.

Thanks gregor for updating, and any question just let me know.

By the way, line breaks, preview before you post, if there are no breaks then add an extra space between paragraphs.

All looks right on track at this stage. Shock loss makes it look worse but it will return back to normal.
Thanks for the update.

So it's now week 11 and stuff has definitely started to happen. It's crazy how you don't even notice it day by day because you look at it so much. I swear I woke up this morning and just noticed all this new hair!

I'm pleasantly surprised as I wasn't really expecting any growth at all for at least another month or maybe even two. What do you guys think of this? Compared to my last update it's crazy. There's parts on both sides of the temples that are actually starting to look not too bad!

Would you reckon this is a normal amount of growth for week 11 or have I been lucky and just responded well to the treatment? Either way, it's starting to look more and more worth it every day!

Also, as you can see in the last image, the donor area has already made a full recovery from shock loss, even under the camera flash. Happy days :)

I don't really know to be honest. In all honesty i'm surprised it's still as red as it is but going by other patients at a similar stage this seems to be normal.

I have read many patients find relief with Aloe Vera lotions. Helps soothe the skin.

Fortunately there's no pain or discomfort anymore it's just the slight redness seems not to want to budge.

I think i'll leave it for now as I dont want to put any more products on the area, thanks though ;)

Just a quick photo update, into week 15 now I think, loads of new hairs sprouting every day!

I swear I went to the sauna the other day and came out with noticeably more hairs haha.

It never seems to look very good captured straight from the front, probably just the style of my hair tbh. As you can see the temples are coming in strong, not even 4 full months!

No point putting pics of the back of my head these days as it's 100% back to normal!

Thanks man. I don't really notice it that much day to day until I come back to this thread and notice it's about twice as thick as it was last month haha

My right temple is coming stronger than my left at the moment but I'm aware this happens to most people on one side or another

Bit more progress. Just a quick update.

I've decided to post these pics under slightly different natural lighting as well. This is a bit closer to what I look like under normal conditions as opposed to under a direct camera flash.

Edit - can't seem to get the pics to embed on my phone. Here's the links anyway. I'll embed them when I get to my PC

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Congrats on your surgery with Vinci, as the others have said it looks like you had a positive experience and the amount of grafts used should produce a nice new hairline which looks to be taking shape nicely already. Thanks for sharing your progress as we love to see regular updates from patients on here.;)
Take care BN

Week 18 now... or maybe 19... something like that haha. Yet again, always so shocked when I look in this thread and see my pictures from only a couple of weeks ago and the difference is massive.

Still coming in a bit faster on the right side but it's all kinda starting to even out now. Not long before I can finally go to the most expensive barbers I can possibly find to finally get a real hair cut and style that doesn't involve trying to hide my temples!

It all looks to be growing in nicely. All will even out over the coming months.
Enjoy your hair cut and let us know if the stylist says anything.

Great post and amazing results!! I'm booked in with Vinci for a 2 day surgery in Malaga in August. It can't come quick enough.
