26, new hair line, best place to go for this procedure?

hi im from the uk and wanted to know in your guys opinions which was the best place/ doctor to go for a new hairline. thanks

If I had the access to Belgium that you do, it would be Feriduni, hands down. Just my opinion, but I think the hairline work he has done on younger patients is unmatched, and reasonably priced. However, you should consult with many, many clinics before you decide.

thanks il be sure to check his work out, someone said mwamba was good for hairlines too? oh one thing i have noticed is most pics im seeing the guys have shaven their head fully... is this a must as if possible id like to leave mine a similar length it is now on the top as id have to be back at work like 2 weeks after the op. thanks for your advice

Mwamba and Feriduni do AMAZING hairline designs. Bisanga too but maybe slightly more conservative.

Hey superr, would you want to provide a little more info on your hair situation? Do you know where you are on the Norwood scale, and are you on propecia? How's your father and grandfathers hair?

As for shaving your head, it usually depends on the doctor and the specifics of the procedure. Some are ok with you doing a marine corps style cut for FUE procedures. If I do get an HT, I'm gonna save up between three to five weeks of leave.

my father has a receiding hair line and a bold spot on his crown, my hair is thick everywhere else but by hairline has receded the past few years, it has never been in my opinion 'forward enough' but it has def got worse. my hairdresser always tells me that my hair is really thick and grows stupidly fast but im really just not happy with my hairline... it forces me to grow the top of my hair longer to cover it up and create the illusion there's hair there but with the wind etc its not always possible. plus iv had the same hairstyle forever due to this.. it always plays on my mind.. silly really i know but i think a better hairline further forward would suit me alot better. i have never taken hair supplements but have a high protein diet and consume daily vits etc..

Not a bad thing, more conservative is very ethical imho.

i work in construction and need a to wear a hard hat, anyone know if this will damage my 'newly transplanted hair' also how long after the procedure would it be ok to start wearing one again as i need it for work.. thanks

did not realise you had 2 threads going, same as before, why not put some pictures so we can see your hair loss. it sounds like you have decided but then ask simple questions.

26 is not old, what is your situation now, NW2.5 maybe, do you use meds?

it seems there are loads of young guys having a h/t today but no idea what they are getting into.

If I were you I would try to hold off for a few years, maybe try the meds and see how it goes as you are quite young at 26.

REgarding taking time off with FUE. I would go for 3 weeks off. Go sick for a few days if you can only take 2 weeks. Most scabs should be gone though at 2 weeks.

I would buzz your head down a couple of months before the Op so everyone in work gets used to the buzzed look.

And then there will be no eye drift when your return to work. In case there was any redness lingering.

not saying you have not had hair loss but are you on meds? 26 is not old and your hair line isnt that bad. Have you really done any research in to this?

I can recommend Crown Clinic, can offer you a free consultation with the Dr who would perform the procedure. He will then also recommend whether you do need the surgery or not! I have had a friend go to recently and was told that he needed to wait before he was able to have the surgery, you could be in a similar position!
