I have posted images and threads before so apologies. Have this weird line coming from my crown. Sometimes it’s visible, other times it bit. Depends how I brush it. Depends on office lighting vs natural lighting. My crown itself I believe is the same size as always, the line shooting from it I don’t know. Oldest image I have is from like 2011, as below.

The next two are current - I have accentuated the line for its worst possible look.

I don’t know what it is - localised thinning? A parting? My whorl? A double whorl?
It bothers me a lot. I get comments about it because my whorl isn’t just a tight little circle - so then people automatically assume the worse case. I do find it more noticeable on newer cameras than older ones, and I seemed to be able to brush it more so it was covered more - but I don’t know if the low res small sensor cameras are making it look better an it’s always been like this.
Does it look like it’s progressed? I mean it wouldn’t be the typical place for thinning to occur?
Very confused.
