Is it possible to go through a 2nd shed at the 8 month mark? I started growing out my hair at month 6.5 and have just cut it short again, but I swear it looks thinner than it did before I started growing it out *nl
Yes its totally possible. Shedding is also a normal part of everyones hair cycle and you could just be going through a normal shed where hair is in the telogen phase dude......as BM says just wait it out you should be fine
Thanks guys I assumed it was normal for the newly implanted hairs to continue to keep going through the cycle, just wasn't sure how long after the initial shed it would happen.
Also, is it normal for the new hairs to come back thinner, and then thicken over time?
Yes the hairs will mature and thicken up over time. They may be wiry too, if they are transplanted correctly these will straighten over time also unless you have natural curly hair.
