Alright so things have really taken off at this point now. Just hit 5 months and at this point the improvements pretty crazy. This is the exciting phase where the fastest growth starts to happen. The finer hairs are now thickening up and its adding more and more density. Its hard to notice the transplant now unless under a really harsh light. Still a bit on the thin side but its getting pretty easy to conceal it now !

Here are some pics, sorry quality isn't that great but my camera sucks atm, also.. don't mind the messy hair it hasn't cut in 8 months haha

Looking very good Cody.
5 months can still be considered early for the amount of growth you’ve had so you are quite lucky in that respect.

Yeah I feel very happy about these early results. Even though progress has gone very well and fast, I've still had many days over the past few months of stress and worry about how its going to turn out haha.. at this point I feel like I can rest easy now.

Many people stress over the growth rates especially when seeing others having early results.
I’m glad your mind is at ease now knowing you’re getting good growth.

Looking good Cody95. Do you have any pictures from the top of your head please, I’d like to see how your growth looks like from the top.

Yes here you go, its grown in quite well! Its bit thicker on the hairline because it was a dense pack, the hairs are still a bit finer than my other hair, but theyre still going to improve!

The staggered peaks make it look natural and your density is good.

Yeah I'm very happy with the density so far, it was my greatest concern prior and during the HT process. Especially because I have light skin and dark hair. Its honestly completely passable now, but apparently there is still a ways to go until full density is achieved. So I'm really excited for the coming months!

Yes you are correct, further improvement in the following months. It may not be as noticeable as it slowly thickens up and matures.

Fut scar update at 5.5 months. Virtually unnoticeable, still slightly red.

You have a lot of hairs growing through the scar which is great. Once the redness has completely gone it`s going to be hard to see any sign of it.

Yeah its very slight which is great! Dr. Gupta told me that with this closure technique I should be able to style a grade 4 haircut on the back and sides if I wanted to, which is fairly short but I personally wont be doing that haha

I usually get a grade 4 on the back and sides. In one of my repair scars, you can see the difference in the hair but not the actual scar which I`m happy about.
Yours will be undetectable with slightly longer hair. It may even be that way with a grade 4 cut.

Yeah, for so many years I always wore short hair styles because of my hairloss and stuff haha, but now that I have hair again, I'm very thrilled to wear longer styles so I'll probably keep it well above grade 4 but its great to have options haha!

Having different styling options is nice. People who are used to seeing you with a short hair cut will be amazed, especially if they`ve seen you in a while.
I can`t remember if you had sutures or staples for your donor closure. Which was it?

Haha yess, to be completely honest its been so long since most people in my life have seen my hair, I unfortunately have been the "hat guy" for quite a few years. But I guess its beneficial because people I haven't told about the transplant probably won't suspect a thing haha!

And yeah I had sutures!
