Overall I'm happy there has been a good improvement, especially from looking front on. But it still is fairly thin when looking from above or if I bend down. I'm hoping this will get thicker the next few months.

Be patient you have covered a lot of area with them grafts and at 5 months I have to say your looking very good at this stage , its only going to get better and better from here have a great night stay positive .

As Daz says it's still early days, some patients don't see growth until month 6 and your growth has started which is good. It will thicken and mature as the months go by, some months you may get more growth than others, plus you're on the meds now, hopefully you're a good responder to them.

Cheers daz, yes I'm happy with the progress so far. Family and friends who don't know that I've had the transplant haven't really said anything. Those who know feel it's made a positive difference.

Fantastic am sure in a few months time you will be even more happy it just takes time and IMO I think it gets better all the to the 18 month Mark as the hair changes .

I agree totally, I think your result looks great so far myself and as Bigmac says your only just over the halfway stage so should still have some more growth and maturing to come.....from where you started I'd say your well on your way to a good result too dude. I would be happy with your progress so far if I were in your shoes pal.

Hello Hairguy.. Just curious as I had previously looked at using Ziering and I am also a NW6... How much was this procedure?

The prices are on their website, then I got 15% discount. I only went to Ziering for Mr Ball, who now has opened his own clinic, the Maitland clinic.

I'm now at 11.5 months and this is probably almost the final result. The crown may improve slightly over the coming months. Overall I'm happy with the outcome from the number of grafts used and am grateful to Mr Ball for the result. As you can see from the pre-op photos I've come a long way.

Next week I'm having HT no. 2 with Dr Karadeniz in Istanbul. I will be having another FUT and possibly FUE on day 2 with the aim of getting as many grafts to improve the density. I'll start a new thread with this next week.
