4,000 grafts a good estimate?

I've just started my clinic consultation journey and the one I went to recommended I get 4,000 grafts. I'm not sure exactly what hairline they'd create, but obviously I'd have to get another hair transplant later when the region that's currently thinning continues to thin to nothingness. Any thoughts? Specifically, to the best of your all's knowledge, does a 4,000 graft solution seem right (if any surgical hairloss solution seems right )? Or maybe it's too soon? (Though my hair loss has been pretty slow for the last 4-5 years)

4000 seems very high for the front, I think if you ask some of the best they would say about 2500. You just have some recession.

Hopeful, it was DrEo in Mexico City. It seems like there's no English language option for their page, but you can reach it here dreoclinic [dot] com

Hm, unfortunately it's a decent amount of recession and even where there isn't complete recession there's considerable thinning. If I had to guess, I'd say they're planning on covering some of the very thinned areas as well.

Well if you were completely bald ontop with thin hair(makes more grafts needed) to cover half of the area would be about 3500-4000 with a great Dr.

I would not say you are completely bald ontop, you have some recession. Looks like you have less recession than me and I had 2500 grafts.

I would recommend contacting more clinics and see what they say, usually bad clinics say high graft numbers because all they care about is $.

What do the other parts of your hair look like? If you have a picture looking down to show the middle and crown. You should ask the clinic to explain and mark out the area with graft numbers.
This guy had 4000 from Dr Hasson.

I forgot to ask, are you using anything to stop more loss?

Just adding this result which is 3500 from BHR Clinic.

Would need more pictures showing top down view of your head to see how much thinning you have. I would suggest you consider meds such as Finasteride and Minoxidil. You may be able to significantly improve your thinning areas.
The graft count is subjective because we don’t know what area they’re planning to cover. If you could find out the surgery plan from the clinic and let us know.
