4 days post FUE questions

Greetings everyone,
I’m 4 days post FUE, 2400 grafts in the front and middle. I started washing my hair with the cup method and started using my fingertips today. I’m wondering if I can use baby oil with aloe to help soften scabbing? So far, no scabs have come off and I’ve read you should be scab free by day 10, ideally. For shampoo, I’ve been using baby shampoo mixed in the cup, then pouring it over and rinsing. Also, the doc used a blue dye to help locate sites. It’s hard to see in the photo, but I am tinted blue. Please tell me it goes away…and soon? Any general thoughts on how it looks ( I know my hair looks like trash). Thanks in advance, William

Hello William, the scabs will come off when ready. 10 days is the average, some patients are sooner and some a little longer. At 4 days your healing looks normal. At 7 days you can let the shampoo soak on your scalp longer. This will help soften the scabs. They will come off easier when massaging the scalp whilst you have the shampoo on. The dye will fade away.
What did your post-op instructions from the clinic advise?
