NG2GB,

Wow! I am blown away by your results after only just 5 months! I agree with the others, you can definitely lose the hat and proudly show off your new 'mop'. I also think it looks great right now and would never guess that you haven't had your hair cut in 5 months.

Congratulations on such a great turnaround and I can't wait to see what it all looks like at 12+ months!

I still noticed my hair become more natural and change in texture / more straighter / maturing, right up to 2-3 years it was still improving in texture!
Hey NBHU,

thanks for all of the kind words! You've received a killer result, I recall your pics and they were fantastic. W/respect to the quote above: is this true, it can take 2-3 years for the full maturation process to occur? I was talking to a friend of mine, thanatopsis-awry, whose 21 months post op and he was concerned that in some men the hair texture is *permanently* altered from a ht. Has anyone heard of this, or does it/can it truly take up to 2-3 years for your hair to return to it's natural texture?

Re the hat, ya didn't you feel naked the first time you ditched it? ;;D LOL I'm still wearing my hat when I go out, but it's because when I try and style my hair the front turns into these big gay curls that I can't control...Need to get a cut and re-assess. Will update for sure.

Thanks again,

and your truly no longer "bad hair UK".

MnM,

thank you for your kind words, truly appreciated. BTW, are you the same "M&M" that posted on Pats' site, or someone else? If it's the former, than glad to see you over hear and to have your input; if it's the latter, than glad to (virtually) meet you.

Hi NG,he is indeed M&M,only using the MnM as he cant receives PMs if the "&" symbol in his user name as there is a slight glitch in the software which will be sorted in the next upgrade. Will change name back when this happens.

Hi NG2GB,

As BigMac mentioned, I had to change my nic slightly, but it's the same M&M as on "Pat's Site". I'm pleased to see your great progress after so much research in advance!!
