A Low-Risk Approach to Filling a Young Man's Crown (Carlos K. Wesley, M.D.)

Media Mgr Dr. Carlos K. Wesley
This 29-year-old patient had prior FUE sessions in the frontal region and midscalp areas of his crown. The FUE procedures included beard FUE grafts into his midscalp. He desired more hair in his crown, but his donor reserve was limited and - in his 20s - he was almost certain to have more thinning in his donor region.
This patient received 2 PRP sessions as well as the daily use of the topical hair growth blend (HGB) provided by Dr. Wesley. The images depict the patient before and about one year after initiating this non-surgical therapy.

That's a superb response to non surgical treatments. I have read various posts on your PRP treatment but not the topical hair growth blend. What does this consist of? Have you any patient results from topical hair growth blend alone?

Topical hair gel I believe is a solution that contains finasteride but maybe I am wrong. I asked on another board what is the price for this and what it contains but that was a while ago and did not get a reply. I use a finasteride gel that cost about $50 US a month. I used proscar for many years and stopped taking it last years and decided to switch to the gel 9 months ago.
