I know there are a lot of members who use various shampoo`s, what i`d like to know is what ingredients you would like to see in a shampoo. Also what shampoo`s do you use at present.

Thanks Bm.

I think it would be good if certain clinics produced their own range of shampoos.....i know Bauman does but not many others.

Does anyone rate Alpeclin Caffeine? I was thinking of giving it a go.

Me too as I've read some positive stuff on caffeine being beneficial to hair.

Saw Palmetto is an ingredient I would recommend using.

Bullitnut, have you had any regrowth with these shampoo's?
Can't honestly say i have had any regrowth dude, but then again i haven't from fin either.....i think i might have been too far up on the norwood scale to experience any regrowth from them but my hair seems to have improved a lot condition wise and i haven't lost anymore either so it can only be a good thing.

I really have given up on the so called shampoos that help with hairloss. I have tried in the past many thickening shampoos, nizoral, alpecin the caffeine shampoo (didn't taste great btw I will stick to coffee).

I have been using head and shoulders for men every other day or daily if I am playing sport and sometimes a conditioner that's it. For me Shampoos are for keeping the scalp and hair clean, unless you have a scalp condition then a normal shampoo is fine.

I think your right. You can possible get a slight improvement in the condition of your hair post washing with a good thickening shampoo or conditioner.

But i havent seen an evidence any of them will halt loss.

I agree with the above comments. I use regenpure dunno why really as it does zero. I think maybe it mentally helps guys by thinking they are fighting hairloss with 3 products rather than just 2(fin and rogaine).

I get this dude.....i think we need someone who isn't on meds and experiencing steady loss to document Regenpure on here because there has been reports of guys who use it and are slowing/stopping their loss successfully so*nl

I use a shampoo that is made by someone that follows the WAP Foundations principles so basically as natural as possible. Not much to do with hair thickening or growth as I don €™t think it matters and have used natural bar soaps in the past. The body works from the inside out for the most part and not the outside in except for a few instances and an example would be where it is important not to wash your skin after being in the sun as the process of producing vitamin D takes places on the surface of the skin and washing it completely disrupts the process or not wearing sunglasses as the eyes need to be exposed in order to send the signal to the pineal gland for the body to produce serotonin your body's own anti depressant.

I would guess but I €™m not an expert that the main component would be the foaming agent and avoiding Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. The shampoo I use has Decyl Polyglucose as the foaming agent which is supposed to be very safe. Are we going to eliminate all toxins probably not but maybe just that one decision could be the choice between a diseased cancer ridden body and experiencing robust health.

The rest of the ingredients in order are MSM, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Protein Extract, Extracts of Rosemary, Sage, Nettles, Coltsfoot, Horsetail, Fennel, Aloe Vera Gel, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palimate, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamins A,E, C, and B5 in liposome form, Grape Seed Extract, Inositol, Niacin, AMLA,Grape Seed Extract.

I also have developed my own proprietary formula not a shampoo that packs on muscle and burns fat even if you are 50 while being completely natural. It seems to have quite a positive effect on my hair or maybe it €™s just the placebo effect €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦.lol €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..unfortunately it €™s not available yet.
