Advanced Hair Studio?

Hi there,
I'm new here, but i'm trying to find out as much info as I can on AHS advancedhair.co.uk/

I'm a 35yo actress, and have been thinning for 2 years now, and its starting to effect roles that i can play, so i'm looking into companies that might be able to fix my problem.

I found AHS through google, and was impressed by their celebrity endorsements, but i just wondered if anyone had any experience with them?

I'd be interested to hear your story.

I personally would not use them as its not a permanent solution to your hairloss, Imo you are better off looking into medications like rogaine for women, if that fails then maybe consider a hair transplant.

Have you any pictures you could post so we can see how much your hair has thinned.

I would look into this very closly as there are a lot of horror stories posted around the net regarding this place....I personally haven't been but ive read a lot of unhappy patient testimonials.....be careful.

I wouldn't go to them.

Went to a consultation with them once and it was very shady, and they didn't know much at all about hair.

I think that back in the days of butchers carving peoples heads up and sticking in huge dolls head plugs of hair, these ideas might have been tempting...and easy way out perhaps. But now with HT's becoming so advanced and successful, and FUE meaning no big slice cuts, why would anyone bother with anything like this?

I am sure there will always be a market for wigs and the like for very unfortunate souls with precious little donor hair, but for the vast majority it'll be a no no.

Even hair extensions only offer a temporary solution. A friend of mine had extensions for over three years, and they have turned her once slightly limp 'difficult' hair into something that affects her socially with large thinning areas; and the very real possibility of requiring some sort of HT surgery.

As suggested, maybe meds are the best thing to try first and also see a HT surgeon, most (the best ones) will see you initially for free.

Kudos to Advanced Hair Studio India for bringing back the happiness to my life. I had gone through a bad phase last year. My confidence level went down and I stopped meeting people. My friends suggested me a lot of things but I was too apprehensive. Well I wouldn't go there, they don't have anything better than Regaine or Propecia, and you can buy them over the internet with ease.

I had a consultation with them in 1996, and the guy I spoke to seemed like a double glazing salesman, after the meeting he kept phoning my house and my Dad told him to f-off!
