Advice for 26 year old FUE HT patient - too young?

Hey Guys,
So after much debating for almost 5 years, I decided to have a transplant at the slender old age of 26 at the Cosmedica clinic in Instanbul back in November of last year. So far, everything is going as planned and I'm almost coming up to the three month mark.
I've obviously hit a fairly nervous stage of the 'ugly duckling' process and I've been going through the forum to give me some advice on what type of things to expect over the coming months in terms of growth, healing, etc and it's helped me to say the least!One thing that has popped up in threads on numerous occasions is various people asking if getting a procedure under the age of 30 is a bad idea? I'd say before the procedure, I was a NW3. This wasn't a sudden hair loss but more of a lengthy process from when I was 17/18. And I am realistic about what I can expect with my HT!
I'd like to get people's thoughts on this as I have noticed I'm one of the younger guys who's had a procedure and what I can do to avoid a HT similar to what Wayne Rooney has had...... Cheers,

Hi Luke out of interest do you take finasteride or proscar? I assume you can't loose anymore hair while taking them! My hair loss has never got worse taking them since I was 18 15 years ago

If designed correctly to stand alone incase you continue to lose hair i think you should be fine.

Hey guys,

I've been taking Propecia and I have used minoxidil in the past aswell. I must admit about a year or so ago, I was combining Propecia and minoxidil for about 4 months and it did stop my hair loss by some way. Even noticed some slight re growth aswell. Getting a HT has been on my mind for a good few years now and I was always destined to get one. Im really happy with how my procedure went and I'm hopeful that I won't loose too much hair in my crown area in the future. The doctor said my crown was thinning but not as bad in comparison with the rest of my hair loss. So there wasn't many grafts placed upon that area. But I'm just hoping I went the right way about it. As with every HT, only time will tell!
