Am I eligible for a transplant at moment

Hi I’m 28
Currently I am under the diffuse hair thinning stage I think , you guys and gals agree?

I first noticed my hair losing its bounce when I was 21, a small bald patch appeared just above the temple area. Within two my hairline from the temple area had receded and overall density taking a big hit . I’ve always grown my hair out, while it’s thinned out. When it’s grown out it’s extremely thin and stands up when it’s windy like Donald Trump’s lol. I have twice shaved my hair since I entered the MPB journey, with my hair taking around 12 months to grow to around 5cm on top, compared to it taking 2-3 months before I entered MPB. Picture 2 (left side) is where the bald patch started.

It does look like a diffused thinning pattern you have. If it is they are unpredictable and if you get a hair transplant you will probably lose more native hair without the use of meds or some other treatment that may work for you.
What are your goals? Is it full coverage or to concentrate on say the front half?
The donor looks good, this will need checking for signs of miniturisation.
Have you tried any meds or other alternatives to see if you can stop the loss and maybe regrow some back?

Ideally full coverage when and if possible as I can’t really grow my hair back , its been 2 months and that’s how it’s looking . It grows extremely slowly . I’m not taking any meds atm , just vitamins and biotin. I was considering regaine.[/QUOTE]

You will have miniaturised hairs that are thin and weak, possibly some dormant follicles that with the right approach could be stimulated to grow back. Finasteride is the best medication there is and then Minoxidil or Regaine. They are proven to work for the vast majority of people but do have the possibility of side effects like most medicines.
MSM is a good option to speed up growth, it may or may not help but many have benefitted from it.
If possible, try to have an in person consultation with an HT doctor who will check your hair and advise accordingly.

At 28 you have fairly aggressive hair loss and it will further develop with the crown potentially dropping and your lateral humps (sides) dropping. As BM said, best to see some doctors in person and those who are able to measure your donor densities, (you would be amazed how many consultations and doctors still do not do this!),but this empirical data will then be the platform to then see what is possible to have and you may also have to tap into beard and or chest hair to meet your goals.
