Hi, hope all are well!

I have been thinking about having a hair transplant for over a year, and decided to go ahead in 2023!

My thread is in regards to if anyone has any experience or advice regarding Hair Growth Centre (HGC) in UK? (Link: hairgrowthcentre.com).

HGC seem reputable and have 2,000+ reviews on TrustPilot. They have a number of surgeons, and the one I am planning on having surgery with is Dr Alosert, who has almost 100 good reviews on Doctify.com.

I have been quoted £2,500 for 'MaxGraft'; and after consultation with HGC, have been told I will need 3,000 grafts, which is in line with previous in-person consultations I have had. In that price is also included a single PRP session, and monthly 'laser photodiode' sessions for 6 months post-surgery.

I appreciate the age old quote of 'if it's too good to be true, it probably is' applies here.. But does anyone have any experience with this company or particular surgeon? From my research, I have found nothing negative, and would much rather pay £2,500 in the UK than abroad.

Any advice is highly appreciated!

Thank you.

Hi Friend ,

I have not heard much of this surgeon or Clinic and I know money these days with the economy the way it is this sounds a great deal , however what I will suggest is look around more and try and meet with people who have actually been to this surgeon or clinic , Big Mac and myself used to meet up with members from time to time and believe me it makes a hell of a difference getting that confidence boost
all the best mate take care dont think how good a deal it is think that this is for life and the donor I have is the only one I got .

If you search hair growth centre on this site you will see some posts about them. Post some pictures that will allow your estimate our comments.
Read this. It talks about not basing your choice on a cheap price.

Its always a good plan if you can meet up with patients who have actually been to the surgeon or Clinic before committing especially with social media these days , that is all I am suggesting

I had mine done at HGC back in 2020 Maida Vale (Dr Sami). I would not recommend them as the results are hit-and-miss. If you do use them, I would go to the essex branch and have Dr. Nayak and his team carry out the procedure.

TrustPilot reviews aren’t reliable. I agree with HR1986 above comment. Maybe Dr Nayak has a separate clinic where you can deal directly with him. You often find that doctors who work for brokers could be available at other outlets or direct as mentioned.
Some pictures showing your hair loss would be useful.
