Yeah sure you can count Bosley on my list of mistakes in the past about 20 years ago ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦maybe they have gotten better but here is the thing, cosmetic surgery is not conducive to the franchise system regardless of the company name. Sure you can have a doctor that personally trains someone and have them turn out great because maybe not only are they highly skilled but the doctor is also a great teacher and has an eye for capability in another. But to do this on a large scale in an impossibility in my opinion.
Franchise systems work well with something like food, cleaning carpets, painting cars etc. Think McDonalds, Stanley Steemer or Earl Schieb, he will paint your car for $99 regardless ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦.guaranteed..............might look like crap but the price is guaranteed.
With a franchise you implement a system and everyone follows the system. Cosmetic surgery is very different as each customer is unique and the skills necessary to perform hair transplant surgery are unique as it is more art than surgery. Same would apply to something like robotics.
Can we set up a system where a Rembrandt can train 100 up and coming artists to all be Rembrandts ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦the answer would be no.
I would pass on Bosley and look for a specific doctor and base you decision on his/her body of work. Bosley runs some nice ads but that is about it.
Wish I knew back then what I know now when all this knowledge would have made a difference but can't go back in time. Hopefully someone else can benefit.
