Anyone tried a derma roller?

hey everyone, I've been recommended to use a derma roller for a small scar on my forehead. For those that don't know it's a roller that uses tiny needles to pin prick the skin and encourage skin renewal .
I notice whilst reading up on the roller it says for hair regrowth. Anyone tried this for MPB?
Not expecting much but worth a try. Should I stop the minoxidil or carry on with it whilst doing it?
Thanks

Hi Cliff,
The Dermaroller is for wounding purpose only, the small holes it creates induces the body to repair that area which is why it may help for your scar.
It won't help Minoxidil absorb into the scalp. It may irritate the scalp more if both used together but I can't be sure as I've never tried it. If you do decide to use both together try a small test area first.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.

I've a derma roller from Rodan & Fields and I've to say that it's kinda effective, however you should not just use that alone. I'm also using toner, moisturizer. I use it every night and for like 2 weeks straight I've notice a difference. I don't think there's harm using minoxidil while using derma roller.
