I hope you still visit this website since I would like to ask you a question. I've been following a couple of your posts and viewing all of your pictures. I have noticed that you and I have similar hair/scalp patterns. I also have a red/pink scalp and my hair appears to be "balding" at the crown, but have been told it's just the way my hair falls into place. I am currently trying T-gel since I know you used it. It's only been a couple of days so I will wait until it's finished for the final results. The question I am getting to is: have you found anything that has gotten rid of the pink scalp?

That said, I love the way your hair looks and hope everything is going well with yourself.

Hey there senelcoolidge.

Yeah, I've been told the same thing by my GP. I've got no hairloss, it's just the way my hair falls/natural parting, combined with the red scalp.

So, because of that, I was originally prescribed Ketopine shampoo, and that didn't really do anything for me. I tried that in conjunction with T-Gel, and still, my scalp was red.

I was then prescribed Cocois, which is an ointment you apply to your scalp for an hour a day... I gave up on that after a week, because the smell was horrible and I was getting headaches due to it.

I'm now trying Polytar. You're meant to apply it twice a week for like six weeks to see any improvement, but to be honest I've had it about a month and only used it twice. I just forget to use it. I'll start it up again and will let you know if it works.... but for now, those are the things I've used and so far, and my scalp is still red.
