Ok, so first I went to the Lotus Clinic, and they offered me an FUE treatment using my doner hair as well as some beard hair. I'm pretty much a Norwood 6 or 7, so I know I can't get full coverage, all I want is to get as much on top as I can get.
Now I visited another clinic, the Barley Clinic, also in Qingdao. They were a bit bigger, and a bit more professional looking. The consultant told me they would not use beard hair, as it won't last very long, but that's contrary to what I've heard most anywhere else.
They did tell me I'd be a candidate for the plasma rich platelet option, since I have enough weak hairs on top that could be stronger.
I can't find much about PRP, it seems like it is a very new thing. In not sure how effective it would be for me.
Does anyone know much about PRP? Or if beard hair is not suitable for transplant long-term? Or anything about the Barley Clinic in China for that matter?
Thank you very much
