Hi guys,

I am just wanting some advice on possible beard transplant. I would like to know roughly how many grafts do you think I would need to make the beard a bit denser. Also, i would like anyone who has had a beard transplant to recommend me a good doctor?

You only want to use your beard hair going down your neck or scalp hair as well? Your beard doesn´t look that dense in your shaved picture so you may not get enough hair to make a good improvement for you.

Hi Jack - I had a beard transplant around a month ago, and I've finally gotten around to documenting it here - feel free to take a look.

I don't think I have the knowledge to advise you in terms of numbers of grafts, but hopefully you can find something useful from my thread. For the record, I had around 500 grafts, so depending on the areas that you are looking to work on, you might be able to extrapolate an approximate number from that. But I'll defer to the experts on here who may have a better idea.
