Body hair x scalp hair ratio

What is a safe ratio - mix of body and scalp hair to produce a natural looking result? Would it be something like 75% scalp to 25% body. Body hair has a different texture to scalp hair which if a few inches long may look weird.

I know Sl and Topccat have had beard hair so maybe check out their results.

I would have to say each case has to be different.

I can tell you this with certainty. Somebody can ask me a question about something I am very skilled at performing and the answer is almost instant. It's "BOOM" there is your answer and it stated with confidence. Why..................because I have been doing it too long and my experience is so great that the answer just rolls off my sleeve. It's like picking up sticks for me..............nothing to it a baby could do it.

Best to ask one of the doctors that has this kind of experience and can give you that kind of answer just by glancing at your head. Many of the rest are just guessing and hoping they have it right.

If I had to guess maybe 50/50 but then it depends on the hairloss pattern and the caliber. Obviously thinner caliber head hair and thicker beard it going to be very difficult. Personally I think if the lateral humps drop too much along with the crown one needs to be careful as some of the results out there to me look odd. Some results would have actually looked much better to leave the crown bald as opposed to planting beard hair into it at least that is what I would have advised. The midscalp region seems the safest but once again it's all going to depend on other factors. I say this as not only a patient but as an observer of results.

Personally for me it's been a game changer but my situation is different and having very high lateral humps works to my advantage. That line of sight where the vertical side of the head starts to round and go horizontal is much higher so having natural scalp hair at that point prevents any type of contrasting line. If you do not have those higher lateral humps then the contrasting line will stand out as it is in direct line of an outside observer's vision. Not sure if I explained that well...............hope you understand my point others may not agree.

I wonder what it would look like if you used FUE to over harvest ones donor and then used body hair to reinforce the donor, keeping the hair back there shaved to like a 1/8".

I think Dr Cole has been performing donor recharging for some time now, it does seem a viable option.

Dr. Cole has some interesting articles on donor recharging, not sure if I'm allowed to post them here.
