I've been using fincar 5mg finasteride from united pharmacies for over a year and my loss has got worse.

I might buy Proscar from them cos i don't know where else to get them.

MY GP won't give me them on prescription.

I have been on fin since 10/11/2011. I can think I had shedding phase for about 3 months , which was quite painful to put up with. As a result I think parts of my hair are thinner as a result of it , however the frontal area which is why I started too use meds so far seems to continue to improve.

I have read that it can take 6 months before you see any difference.

Hi Jessop,

I have a years supply of proscar which I have decided not to use. Would you be intersted, I am willing to sell them for a loss as I have no use for them and theyre just lying in my drawer. They have original packaging Pfizer.

Let me know either which way :)

How much are you selling them for?

I purchased them for £80 from Dr Ashcroft, I can show reciept as proof. How much are you looking to pay for the years supply? I accept and dont expect to make my full money back. My private messaging isnt working so please reply to this thread or better yet my email address [email protected]

Thanks

By no benefit, do you mean no regrowth or your hairloss has progresssed further since taking this.

I would say that I've lost a bit of hair in the last year. Actually I'd say that I feel I've lost hair at the same slow rate for about 16 years irrespective of medication (which has been mainly minoxidil but a year ago I tried to up the regime by adding finasteride, nizoral and Spectral DNC-L)
Another 10 months on from this and the slow recession has continued. United Pharamacies was very cheap but they seem to have stopped selling any form of Finasteride now.

So wondering whether to give up or find some other supplier. Reluctant to pay much money for something that doesn't appear to provide much benefit.

Go to your GP dude and get a prescription....much easier imo, if its working and you are not getting sides i would not give up now personally.
