Can you ever assume you're fully safe from your Finasteride side effects worsening?

Hello! I have been taking Finasteride for almost 4 months now and haven't noticed any serious side effects aside from weaker erections and just generally taking a bit more than usual to get it up, as well as some brain fog (that could be from anything else I'm taking though.) Do you think 4 months is long enough to be able to tell whether I'm safe from getting worse sides in the future or can they start appearing much further down the line, and if they do appear later do they typically go away with persistent use? Obviously weaker erections in itself would be pretty bad for most men but fortunately that does not affect my life in any meaningful way, I'm more worried about the other potential sexual side effects. I am also aware that worrying about it certainly doesn't help the issue but unfortunately I have anxiety so I'm just looking for some opinions on my situation. I'm not entirely sure if this would be the correct place for my question, I tried posting it on r/tressless but they ban talking about side effects for some reason. Does anyone have experience with this? :)

I have heard of a few people who claims they got permanent sides but this is the same with most if not all medications. For Fin it is a small number considering the number of people that use it and the length of time it’s been available. I have been using it every day since late 2004 with no issues. I t still works to this day.

What dosage are you taking? You could reduce it to see if these mild symptoms go away. If they do, then gradually increase your dosage to the recommended level.

I'm taking 1mg! I might consider that definitely, I would just be scared of losing any progress I may have made so far in terms of lowering DHT. On that topic, if I am experiencing almost no hair fallout in the shower that typically means I shouldn't be noticing any significant loss, right? I assumed that was the case but it seems like my hairline might still be receding and I'm not sure what to do, though that might just be my anxiety telling me it's still receding when it's not. 1 is a few months ago and 2 is now, angle is slightly off but I tried to match somewhat accurately.
