Hello !
I'm 33 years old and I've been losing my hair for 5 years. Nothing too serious at first, just the gulfs that are a little deeper, but nothing more. But for the past 1 year, I've noticed a loss of density on the top, which means that depending on how I style my hair, in the sun, you can see my skin. I'm lucky enough to have thick hair, so it still masks this loss.
I started taking Oral Minoxidil on September 2, and Finasteride on September 11.
So far, no side effects from either medication. I started having shedding due to the Oral Minoxidil from September 12, so very early in the treatment, and it's still continuing.
I've done some research, but you can find anything and everything in terms of timelines... . So I have several questions:
- How long does oral minoxidil shedding last?
- When do you think I'll start to see the effects of oral minoxidil?
- And when do you think finasteride will start to take effect?
