Cicatricial alopecia, commonly known as scarring alopecia, encompasses a group of rare disorders which destroy the hair follicles, replacing them with scar tissue, and causes permanent hair loss to those most affected.

Westminster Medical Group uses Alivio Scalp Micro Pigmentation ink, coupled with a precision 3 micron needle to successfully recreate the look of short shaved hair follicles in the scar tissue of those affected by Cicatricial alopecia.

A short shave hair cut is required as the only maintenance, and the results are nothing short of phenomenal.

Scarring Alopecia poses many problems with hair restoration.
The result you have achieved for this patient is great and importantly it looks natural.
Great work.

That looks amazing especially considering he has scar tissue too. Horrible condition and this must have improved his life considerably. Love seeing results like this whether it be through Transplants or SMP that change peoples lifes so dramatically.....well done Westminster:)

Thanks bullitnut! SMP was a recent discovery for him having lived with the scarring for well over 10 years. His confidence has certainly boosted as a result of the treatment!

Did you go over the entire head or just recreate the hairline and then fill in the bald patches?

Hi Viking, we mostly filled in the scaring though did populate between his existing hairs where there was space. He's very happy with the outcome. One very rewarding case to complete!

Firstly, a remarkable turnaround for this guy, it is for sure life changing. Has the ink remained the same color? And, has the guys hair loss stabilized?

Thank you all. He's a very happy man!

Alivio ink is very stable, even in scar tissue - though he may well need a further top up session in time should the ink fade. His condition is noted to be stable at this point.

@Sourav - please kindly contact our clinic to discuss your case.
