Hello all, does any one know of a clinic that gets good results from prp. I'm leaning towards dr.cooley, does SMG offer this service.my HT has been on hold .taking care of my mom who has stage 4 cancer,so have no down time for surgery now, I can get away a day for prp, I've been on meds for a few yrs,,hair has been stable for several years. thnks for reading guys.

Dr. Cooley and SMG have the same protocol the last time I checked. The results from PRP tend to be subtle and somewhat difficult to see transformation so you'll have a hard time getting pics of results from any clinic.
When the PRP is a stand alone procedure, patients who tend to feel they have the most change is when there are miniaturised hairs present. The PRP will help to reverse the miniaturised hairs to stronger hairs.
When PRP is treated in conjunction with a HT, the transplanted hairs tend to grow faster and give strength to weaker native hairs.

Thanks janna for the response, I remember having my consulation with SMG,talking to both you and matt,a few years ago.i cant believe I'm still on hold for my HT, between my dads illness n death now my moms cancer,its been a tough few yrs.I guess you can make your plans but life has a way of making its own plans for you.since being on meds I have a lot of miniature hair in front third n crown so prp worth looking into.once my mom is more stable ill call SMG n schedule prp session n inperson consult with doc,have a few new questions to ask doc.thanks for reading guys.take care.
