Thanks coopman, it's some advice I'm looking for. I did get a reply from cosmedica regarding the email of the pic above I sent. They asked the exact surgery date which day and which month? Whatever that means. I have sent another email around half an hour ago, asking for his professional opinion, any suggestions and is this normal for the 10th month mark.

I have yet to have a HT but im a veteran poster on hairloss related forums for the last 18years. So my view is not related to actual experience.

Most Clinics would suggest you wait 15 months for the final result. So you could still have some growing to do, however its not looking too promising at this moment in time.

Hopefully they did not extract 3500 grafts. Do you have a better photo immediately post op? Someone may be able to advise you the likely number of grafts you received. They may have overestimated.

You obviously have some growth so its not a total disaster and you can be fixed in the right hands. If Cosmedica offer to fix you, do you want to get bitten twice? Hence why it would be wise to PM some repair patients and get some valuable advice.

Its certainly not game over for you but its all about planning how you are going to use the remainder of your donor grafts in a carefully planned manner.

Cosmedica, to be fair have produced several goods results, there's a few lads on here who have good results, I may be just unlucky. Maybe smoking has something to do with it,? Who knows? Maybe wearing a hard hat at work? Maybe just a slow grower, who needs to wait 18 month? I'm hoping for the latter.

I also went to Cosmedica and am a smoker. I only stopped for one week after my operation and have had a geat result so far so I would probably discount smoking as being a factor.

Here's an update, regarding the emails sent to dr Acar at cosmedica. It would seem they are not interested, if you have concerns. I sent photos, they asked for the exact date of surgery I sent more photos with the exact date of surgery . They ask for yet more photos and again the exact date of surgery.. 3 times I have gave them these. Last email Tuesday, no response yesterday and nothing today. Now feel left hung out to dry. Still praying I'm an extremely slow grower. Thanks.

Thanks for the update Lisbon must be extremely frustrating. if anything good comes from your bad experience it will be that potential future clients of cosmedica read these forums. Honestly if i had of seen your experience I wouldn't have went. I spent 1 year preparing myself for a hair transplant and reviewing cosmedica I couldn't find a bad review and i had seen lots of good results. In hindsight i made the wrong decision. keep us updated. would you consider some doctors in Europe for a repair like DR Ferundi have you recieved any advice from anyone? Comedica is a lottery you could have good or bad results but its not worth putting your looks a on the line for a lottery. All the best man wish you well!

Hi m8, I was the same as yourself, couldn't find a bad review about cosmedica, and I done a lot of research, it seemed a no brainer! The price, maximum density and PRP for what you would pay on a moncler jacket. However I now regret not putting money away and waiting another year to go to a clinic where the surgeon does the work and not techs, hence the reason I've not asked anybody what to do next, it was my call, and now my problem. Cosmedica was and still is a cattle market, who aren't interested if a problem arises, (still no answer from them ) I've asked them straight questions and can't get a straight answer, frustrated is an understatement. Your right though with cosmedica being a lottery, it would appear that some techs are better trained than others and it is just your Donald Duck. I can assure you what ever I do, I won't be returning to cosmedica.

You shouldn't feel that you cannot ask what to do next. Someone might be able to offer some good advice.

Here's an update: sent another emai to cosmedica today,who promptly replied, I think this is due to whatyawant linking my thread to the clinics thread, thanks very much, it is well appreciated my friend. I just went into a complete downer thinking what to do next. Right, cosmedica has advised me to wait till June, this will be the 1 year mark, if after I still haven't got the desired result, cosmedica have offered to do another surgery free of charge. Now I have responded with, if this is the case and it is looking like I need to go for another OP then I have asked if dr Adar personally do the surgery. Comments welcome. Thanks

Hi Lisbon no problem man! Cosmedica can't act like they have nothing to loose the reputation of Dr Spammer and Acar is all they have for this and future so called businesses! Anyone can do some research and see what's in store if they go to Cosmedica! So if they want to salvage any reputation they have they can make sure and help you!
With regard to going again if if there is no progress Lisbon do you want to take that risk? You only have a limited amount of donor hair man you could end up having no more options! Think very carefully buddy if you could get a loan for another doctor with a great rep! You could look back on this episode in a few years and think thank fuck I sorted that or think what have I done!

This is a shame. Sadly it looks like this isnt gonna happen.
It may well be best to look at another surgeon..as donor is precious....this clinic does seem to be a lottery

Yes, whoever deals with the emails has confirmed dr acar and his team would perform the repair. I'm not 100% sure yet if Iam going to return. We are expecting a baby in 3 weeks time, and just moved house, so doing a lot of renovation work. However can't wear a beanie for ever.

Hi Lisbon, the growth is very thin considering the number of grafts you received. Looking at your immediate post op picture it appears the grafts were evenly placed over the frontal third, however in your pre op picture it looks like the hair in the centre of your frontal third was strong. Was there a reason grafts were placed across the whole area?

You still have time for growth to happen but personally I don't think it will improve much if any. I`m interested to hear the clinics explanation why they think you had poor growth. Maybe it was the technicians who did your procedure, alternatively I`ve seen other case`s where patients have poor growth due to unknown reasons or underlying scalp conditions. Before choosing another HT I would look at getting a scalp biopsy to rule out anything that may cause poor growth. You don't want to waste your donor if another procedure is doomed to fail.

If all is ok with your scalp, its then your choice what to do next. Do you go back to the clinic or choose a different clinic.

Its not good your going through this, hopefully we can get you to where you should be with your hair.
