Thanks bm. I would love to hear the clinics explanation also. Yes I'll upload a top down pic I've just taken.

That does not look good. With your permission i can ask the clinic if they are willing to respond on here or to you via email.

Hey Lisbon keep the chin up man! Check out a think called LPP it is something people should get checked for before they get a hair transplant. I didn't know about it either and I believe this is what BM was referring too! To be honest I wouldn't worry too much, you head just looks like you have patchy hair loss. You will get it sorted! Hopefully cosmedica will respond on here as they seem to be happy enough to post before and after pictures of their clients. I've seen loads of before and after shots but none of a case like yours I wish I had with hindsight! It would be nice also to see other people's experiences bad or good of cosmedica on here so they can inform others!

Hey Lisbon. Sorry for the rather poor result dude. I also got a hair transplant from Cosmedica (you can check my thread if you wish). I am also afraid that I might get a rather "poor" result, so could you also share some pictures when you were 2-5 months post op? Best of luck to you man, hope you sort this out, and most importantly do not give up! It does not look "terrible" or "bad", it just looks like (as whatyawant pointed out) as patchy hair loss and does not look too bad unless someone peeks over your head.

I am now 3.5 months post op. I updated my thread and uploaded pictures at the 3 month (12 week) mark. I don't know if I am going to have a poor result, that is why I want to compare my result with lisbons result to see if there are similarities with the growth process.

Too early man, your only two weeks ahead of me, are you not seeing some growth from your pics it looks like you are? I suppose Lisbons results is in the minority as surely there would be more info or bad reviews. to date ive scowered the net and only found this bad result.

Yeah I am definetly seeing some growth, but I am afraid that it won't get any better. I am still wearing a hat and you can still see that I miss quite a bit of hair on my temples. I am going to travel and see my family in 5 weeks. I hope that it will get a lot better after the 5 weeks as I haven't really told anyone about this procedure (seeing as I am quite young in comparison to most people who get HT).

Its very early day man, I know how anxiou you get believe me but its way to early to say, I originally planned on not telling people and was worried about it and then I realised I didn't really give a shit what people taught, the people that matter do you wont judge you for it.. Anyway relax and don't worry! Im seeing a good few hairs popping out sticking with finasteride rogaine and nizoral and a bit of hair tonic keeping healthy and fit and thats all i can do to encourage the growth. If It doesnt work out il get a repair but a few years from now this will all be a distant memory.

Here's my 12 month update, it's been exactly 1 year to the day since doing the op. I will upload some pics. I have emailed the same pics taken today to cosmedica, once again they have offered to do another op free of charge. I will not be taking their offer.

Hey man, sorry to say your result is not good.

Donor has been overharvested.

Growth is less than 50%

You`re next option may have to be FUT, possibly transplant some body hair back in the donor.

Temporary Smp could also be a solution.

What reason has the clinic provided for this?

Hi ford, they have took responsibility for this, was told sometimes this happens. They offered another op free, I have no intention to do any more ops, let alone be opened up like a can of beans with a fut.

Are they willing to offer some compensation? Besides the free surgery offer.

Hi Ford, I'm not interested in compensation all I wanted was what was promised, a high density Ht. I've just received a response from the pics I sent yesterday and cosmedica have admitted it is of low density. My question is what happened to the 3500 grafts? As this is what I was told was done. Can anybody tell me by looking at my pics if it looks like 3500 grafts were taking? And maybe a rough estimate of how many grafts that look to be done. Thanks.

Hi mate, sorry to hear of your situation. I'm assuming from your name you're a fellow Glaswegian. I'd be curious to see the clinic quantify the number of grafts. If they took 3500 how many were singles, doubles and triples, and did all 3500 get implanted into the recipient site. Was the procedure driven by a surgeon or technicians mate? It looks to me like a third of what they're saying. I'm not a believer in the sometimes this happens, sometimes this doesn't take. A highly experienced and reputable surgeon will always properly evaluate the patient, not over harvest, manage expectations and therefore yield good results.

Hi Lisbon I'm sorry to see this result! Cosmedica are a con job so is so called Doctor Acar and Levant, you should destroy any reputation they have for what they have done to you. I'm only 4 months in seeing some growth but I'm preparing for the worst case scenario. if only I had seen this before I went. What are you going to do?
