That's good to hear you have the donor intact on the sides, take your time and plan what to do next.Smp into the back donor is an option, also hair fibres will help in the transplanted area.
All the best.

Hi Lisbonlion 1967

Am really pleased for you that you have had a positive consultation and their is a solution for you thank god , I cannot put down here what I think of this Cosmedica other than everyone who reads your thread should take note and take care , just because a couple of guys get good results does not mean that everyone will be the same also bearing in mind the Dr or Techs doing the work will not always be the same , I wish you all the very best my friend and for what its worth if you need to have a chat or anything just PM me

Cheers

Great news Lisbon! Who did you do the consultation with? What's involved in the repair! All the best man! New hair I'm in the same boat as you I went to cosmedica taken in by the marketing the numerous before and after photos I couldn't find a bad result until Lisbon so I thought it was a good bet, however given the result of Lisbon and my own personal experience of cosmedica I am preparing for a bad result! If I could change what I did I would but I can't! Thing is I had the money I just thought a hair transplant is a hair transplant.... Unfortunately finding out later it's not! Lisbon you are doing a great service to young and old guys by posting your experiences! Please keep it up!

Hi new hair try not to worry! I've seen a lot of growth the last month month 4-5 so much so I feel I get away without wearing a hat. Just give it time and see, worrying won't do any good

Hi Newhair.
If you could start your own thread, it will be more beneficial.
You can add your pictures to your gallery, it's under your screen name.

Lisbonlion,

I am sorry to hear of your results. Are you taking any medication to prevent further loss to your native hair? With the donor limited now it is important that you do all you can to keep the hair that you have. Out of interest how long did the procedure take?

Moving forward if the sides were untouched then you have the possibility of another procedure you could add some beard hair among this to add density if you do not have enough scalp hair left.

While FUT as others have suggested is possible with the back of the head being over harvested and the density here reduced greatly you would have to wear your hair longer than normally recommended so I really don't think that would be a good idea now.

You could also look into SMP to give the illusion of density.

Good luck in what you decide.

Dear Lisbon,
Dr Arvind Poswal may help you with some body hair transplant.
How will your hair be looking this month?

Wow Lisbon! That's a massive improvement no?
Hi m8, how's your hair coming on? yes it's starting to look the part now, I think that steroid cream has done wonders, it is still thin in places but believe it or not I'm still seeing fine blonde hairs coming through, 1 side ( the left ) seems to be thicker than the other ( right) but I believe this is common and evens itself out.I think I'm a very slow grower, I'm going to keep posting up to 18 months as I can't find an experience anywhere such as mine, where it doesn't look good at all for 1 year then all of a sudden seems to be actually looking not too bad. The 1s I have come across come to a dead end at the 12 month mark. So maybe it will put the worriers and slow growers minds at ease.
