Now that is honest lighting! Thanks Dazza - it's a refreshingly clear pic. Truth be told, your six months post-op look thinner than your pre-op pics at SMG! Good growing ahead though..

Hi Dazza!

How are you? Thanks for the progress pics. It was always a bit difficult to tell in pics the bothersome hairs that were too strong before you came to SMG, how are they now? I cannot see the lasered out hairs. Have they grown back softer? Or is that just the camera? Glad you are happy with progress so far. You have another 6+ months to go.

Take care.

Things are truly coming along nicely. Providing a very nice clean hairline. The density is always the thing that you will have to wait on. Keep us posted.

Hey Janna,

Those strong hairs are mainly gone as Dr Shapiro removed them, theres still a couple of two hair grafts growing on the hairline though. The hair that was lasered has grown back but to be honest i dont think it made much difference, what options do you think i have to sort that out, would it be poss to remove some then add some grafts to that area? ? Maybe this could be done when i return next year.

Take care.

Hi D!

Generally, the laser treatments need to be repeated 5-6 times in order to eliminate the hairs. The lasered hairs will regrow finer and softer with 1, 2, or 3 treatments depending on the growth cycle and caliber of the hairs.

It's certainly an option to punch more out.

Hello all

Not posed for a while but still been lurking:T:

Anyone that followed my story will know a year ago i had my 4th HT with Dr Ron Shapiro and that i was going back to have scar revision to take out my low wide scar from the hospital group, well thats what ive done! not only the scar revision but also had around 450-460 extra grafts plus 16 ( i think) coarse hairs punched out from the left side.
Hopefully Janna will add my pics soon;)

Hi Bul,

i think my laxity is ok even after all the surgerys, i say i think as when at the clinic your trying to remember all the Qs to ask and the answers!!;;D

The scar revised is low so have to be very careful as my big concern is it stretching.

Was your old scar low, and how has it turned out?
