Dazza, I think hdude is talking about the pinkness in your post op pics.

Generally, every patient gets some form of redness/pinkness in the recipient area. The redness dimishes over time. It occurs right after surgery due to neo vascularization (new blood vessels) for the new grafts. Lighter the skin the more prominent it tends to be and then add multiple procedures to the equation, you get redness that lingers longer. It's an ongoing body's response to physiological healing.

When you see Dazza in person. The pinkness is not as evident. Top down shots with flash used may bring out the redness a bit more.

Here is a pic of Dazza pre-op before any surgery with SMG but he did have 3 other prior surgeries so you can see a slight shading of pinkness in the recipient area.

Dr Ron took out the old scar from the sides and also managed to remove the 2 scars i had at the back leaving one scar so hoping it doesnt stretch, also had acell used on the grafts that were placed and some injected into the new scar area.
Janna will add my pics soon.

Thanks for adding the pictures Janna.

Looking good at 5 days post op Dazza, not much sign of surgery so you`ll be able to hide it well.

Cheers Bm.

Thanks bigmac n bullitnut
Tho as i had srip, the sides and back donnor area were shaved as was the receipient(spelling!) area to make it easier for graft placement, so i am sporting a very dodgy hair cut!! i would get it cut so that it blends in better but i will still have staples in when i go back to work so will have to where a cap for a bit
