I dont understand why people have such an attitude when it comes to shaving their head. For someone who has a scar you can maybe understand but not really because in either case (scar or not) this procedure is something that is going to be a life long investment so you want to have the best possible result in terms of density and avoiding shockloss. See the hair you have regrown from meds you could very well lose some if not all of that to shockloss from not shaving, you may still get shockloss if even you do shave, however, shaving greatly reduces the risk.
However bad you think you will look with a shaved head, dont forget the transplant will make you look worse for more than two months afterwards with the shedding, healing and lingering redness.
Bottom line you will not look normal until around the 3 month mark no matter what, so a shaven head should not be an issue. Shave it, trust me its the best thing to do.
